View the recorded webinar or get the slides. WICHE staff were joined by Renay Scott, Vice President & Professor of Education at New Mexico State University and Adriana Rodriguez, Vice President of Programs at Excelencia in Education, to discuss the implications of WICHE’s Knocking at the College Door data and share strategies for better serving the West’s students. The data show that the West as a whole can expect fewer graduates after 2024 due to the last decade of birth declines–despite many states in the West being positioned for continued increases in high school graduate production–and underscore the strong imperative for graduating more students of color.
