WICHE’s Patrick Lane presented “Trends in Higher Education: Addressing Anticipated Realities Through Proactive Planning”, about the demographic realities of reducing numbers of U.S. youth and high school graduates related to birth rate declines; the increasing share of which are youth of color; what is foreseeable about COVID impacts; and how this relates to schools of theaters’ overall enrollment patterns and how they might respond.
